FireFox Tweak Network 1.6 Add ons

Download File ->>>

BlueGriffon makes a very simple call home when you launch it to check if a new version is available. An alert will show up if that's the case. You can tweak this behavior in the Updates section of the Preferences panel.

If you're upgrading from Portable Firefox (older name and directories), make a copy of your existing profile folder within the PortableFirefox\Data\profile directory on your portable drive. Then download the new version of Firefox Portable and copy your profile from the old version into the new version withinFirefoxPortable\Data\profile. If you added any plugins or searchplugins, you should copy those directories as well (PortableFirefox\plugins to FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins and PortableFirefox\firefox\searchplugins to FirefoxPortable\App\firefox\searchplugins).

As you move between different computers, you may encounter systems on networks that use proxies and don't allow direct access to the internet. You'll need to update Firefox Portable' connection settings to use in the new environment. You can find these settings within Tools - Options - General - Connection Settings. If you routinely use PCs with different proxy settings (for example, work and home or work and school), you can set up the options for both and easily switch between them with the SwitchProxy extension. If you need to determine the connection settings of the PC you are on to add to Firefox Portable, just run our Proxy Get Utility and it will let you know what they are.

You can limit the upload and download throughput to a fixed rate (the minimum rate is 50 KB/sec, and the maximum rate is 100,000 KB/sec). The lower the rate, the longer it will take your files to upload and download. Instead of limiting upload throughput to a fixed rate, you can also set it to "Adjust automatically." This setting enables the OneDrive sync client (OneDrive.exe) to upload data in the background by only consuming unused bandwidth and not interfere with other applications using the network.

If you're on a slow network temporarily, you can pause syncing instead of setting limits on the upload and download rates. To do this, click the OneDrive icon in the notification area on your taskbar, select in the activity center, click Pause syncing, and then select how long you want to pause syncing.

Some things that would be nice tho, is to get this as a wider program. Not just a firefox adon. Think of this running in the background of your computer at all times, doing what you want with just pressing to buttons and typing a command

Sounds nice, really nice but is this planned to only be a firefox extension or is there any future to this being something that (oneday) could work with any browser kind of like QS or Launchy I get the impression this is kind of like combining Launchy with yubnub no Anyway, looks promising, might be enought to make FF my primary browser (maybe).

same problem as someone above. Just update to FF 3.0.3 with ubiquity 0.1.2.And firefox became so slow on starting, and on all new windows opening.I isolate ubiquity, with safe mode of firefox, as the cause of all that.

I love it.Unfortunately, after installing it, I find it takes considerably longer for my firefox to start up. This is a deal-breaker for me, but I realise this is only a prototype. I look forward to trying again whne the project is more polished.

I had to convert all my email accounts to GMAIL because I was unable to keep both my email client and firefox open for more then 2-3 hours before rebooting and getting the white screen. Although, I prefer it now .. is not relevant

In particular, Atul for architecting and thinking about trust networks, Jono for the logic of the parser and fledgling internationalization, Blair for writing many of the commands, and Abi for being the glue (especially in documentation) that keeps things together. This is community-based collaboration.

IANA Time Zone Database, on which JDK's Date/Time libraries are based, has made a tweak to some time zo
